I was born and raised on the small island of Guernsey, just off the coast of Normandy. I have been writing in one form or the other since I was 15. Then in 2005 I left my island home to live with my lovely wife in the United States of America. It is here that I have really been able to find my style.
I currently live in Northern Utah with my wife, our two adorable Chihuahuas and my Mother-In-Law (no that's not weird). When I'm not writing, which is too often for my liking, I work as a system-administrator for the College of Engineering at the University of Utah. It's a great outlet for my nerdy side. I'm also working on a second degree (I used to be and electronics engineer) in communications. Journalism to be more specific.
I was educated at secondary/highschool level before the introduction of the national curriculum, therefore I find myself constantly irritated by the us of txtspk in everyday conversation.
I've never really completely grown up, nor do I intend to.
